Twinsie Tuesday: Textured Nails


I finally picked up a couple of textured polishes just in time for this week's Twinsie Tuesday! These are two from OPI's Liquid Sand line: Solitaire and Jinx. I have mixed feelings about the texture...it's fun, but definitely something I have to get used to

Twinsie Tuesday: Marching Orders Take 3

Happy Twinsie Tuesday! This week we were assigned a marching order by a fellow twinsie to create a manicure based on their order. The lovely Elizabeth from Did My Nails gave me the following orders: "Make it a mix of stripes and solids, glitter and gradient, stamped or studded...anything you'd like to do--in any colors you want--but no more than 2 of your nails can be the same." It almost sounds like a riddle, right? I had fun with this order and here is what came of it:


Thumb and ring finger: Revlon Top Speed in Metallic and Shimmer Jenny
Pointer: Maybelline Color Show Onyx Rush and studs
Middle: Lime Crimes Once in A Blue Mousse and Lavendairy
Pinky: Lime Crime Lavendairy and Silver Metallic Sharpie

31 Day Nail Challenge | 31 Recreate someone else's mani from earlier in the challenge


It's the last day of the 31 day nail challenge! Today we are to recreate someone else's mani from earlier in the challenge. When I saw Jayne's watercolor mani, I knew that was the manicure I wanted to recreate. Thanks for the inspiration, Jayne!

I used Pure Ice's Platinum Magic Base Coat and China Glaze's Beauty and the Beach and Pink Voltage (Neon). I plopped a few dots of each color over the white polish and used a brush and acetone to spread the colors out.

31 Day Nail Challenge | 30 Your Favorite Nail Art Technique


I can't believe this is the second last day of this challenge! For today's favorite nail art technique, I decided to do a neon gradient. I used Pure Ice's Platinum Magic Base Coat (which is becoming one of my favorite white polishes), China Glaze's Pink Voltage (Neon) and Flip Flop Fantasy.

Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by another blogger


Happy Tuesday! For this week's Twinsie Tuesday mani, we were to create a mani inspired by another blogger. I chose to get some inspiration from one of my fellow Twinsies, Marisa from Polish Obsession! She always has fun tape manis, or free-hand tape manis, and I wanted to try it out. 


I started out with a sandwich using OPI's Don't Touch My Tutu! and Milani's Gems, and then free-handed the diagonal half using OPI's Swimsuit...Nailed It! Thanks for the inspiration, Marisa!
